I’m Rayleigh S. Gadogbe, professionally known as Rayleigh Selasi,

I’m a self taught filmmaker who has always dreamt of being a Director. I’m currently exploring visual storytelling and I’m currently working with other creative visionaries to bring my visions to life.

I have self taught film for the last eighteen months, from Mise-en-scène to German Expressionism to Italian Neorealism. I have always loved film, not only watching films, but learning everything about them, the actors, the directors, how they are created and where the inspiration came from.

I recently enrolled in a Film and TV Production BTEC course and my love for film has grown. As self teaching has been both helpful and interesting, actually working and learning in an environment where everyone is as passionate as me, is on a completely different level as I have found that I love to collaborate with people who share the same interests and ambitions I do, its inspiring and motivating. I have since created and worked on multiple projects and found the areas in which I am strongest at and where I need to practice.
